IRMA Research Fellow Recruitment 2023

Applications are invited for one position of Research Fellow for All India Council for Technical Education, Government of India, funded research project titled “Impact Study of the SIP and UHV Programs”. The project is aimed to assess the impact of Universal Human Values (UHV) programs qualitatively and design questionnaires to capture the impact of FDP-UHV (for teachers), UHV-I & UHV-II (for students)

Role Description:
The responsibilities of the role include:

Conduct literature review on Commodity Derivatives markets and allied areas
Secondary data collection and analysis using various econometric models
Report drafting and editing,
Publishing project results through policy briefs, white papers, reports, conferences, and peer-reviewed publications.
Coordinating with research partners and vendors.
Arranging roundtable discussions, workshops, seminars, conferences, and meetings in collaboration with the Center.
Overall assistance in managing the administration and any other research related activities of the Centre.
The candidate may be required to travel within India for the purposes of the Centre.

Eligibility Criteria For IRMA Research Fellow Recruitment 2023

Ph.D. or M.Phil. or Master’s degree with at least second division in Finance and allied fields such as Quantitative Finance/ Rural Finance/Financial Economics with a minimum research experience of 01 year.
The candidate must have demonstrated proficiency in utilizing specialized software such as R, Python, or Stata, as well as experience working with specific datasets for both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Understanding of commodity derivatives markets
Age: The Applicants age should preferably be around 25-35 years.

Salary /Pay Scale

The remuneration will be in the range of Rs. 45,000- Rs.70,000 per month commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and fit with the position.

Selection Process

Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on their CV. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed online or offline.
The selected candidate shall be expected to join immediately.
IRMA reserves the right to accept/reject any application. Relaxation in qualification/experience may be considered by IRMA in the case of an exceptional candidate.
