CSMCRI Vacancy 2023 Details

Project associate: 03 Posts
Duration: These positions are purely temporary for the period of 1 year and extendable as per performance and assessment of candidate. It would, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming absorption in CSIR- CSMCRI.

Eligibility Criteria

Age: As on the last date of receipt of the application, maximum 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.

Posts	Qualification
Project Associate	Graduate B.E./B. Tech. in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent.

Salary /Pay Scale

(i) Rs 31000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests-CSIR UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE OR (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by central government Departments and their agencies and institutions.
(ii) Rs 25000/- + HRA for others for who do not fall under (i) above.

35 years for Project Associate I
50 years for Project Assistant I

Education Qualification

Post Name	Qualification
Project Associate	M.Sc in Chemistry Desirable: Chemistry with core specialization (Organic, Inorganic, Physical and Industrial) and NET/GATE qualification. The selected candidates will have to work on the extraction of high-value products from fishery waste and seaweeds.
Project Assistant[MLP1202]	B.Sc in Life sciences The selected candidates will have to work on the application of various seaweed-based formulations on the cultivation of microalgae.
Project Assistant[MLP0049]	B.Sc. in Chemistry The selected candidates will have to work on different analytical procedures pertaining to the downstream processing of seaweed biomass.

CSMCRI Project Associate & Project Assistant Salary/Pay Scale

Project Associate I [MLP1202]: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA Per Month
Project Assistant [MLP1202]: Rs. 20,000/- + HRA Per Month
Project Assistant [MLP0049]: Rs. 20,000/- Per Month (Consolidated)

Selection Process For CSMCRI Jobs 2020

Applications received by e-mail will be scrutinized based on the job requirement, candidate’s academic and research background and any such shortlisted candidates as eligible as per the criteria will be asked to attend the interview on 14^th September 2020 (from 10.30 AM onwards) using online mode i.e. Skype or MS- TEAM due to COVID-19.
