Online Applications Are Invited From MBBS Degree Holder to fill up 523 posts of House Surgeons for a period of six months in the various District Hospitals / Sub Divisional Hospitals of Punjab State. Tenure of House Appointment For NHM Punjab Recruitment 2023

The maximum tenure of a House Job appointment for a particular Candidate Will be one year.

The batch of the House Job shall be as follows:

1st January to 30th June.
1st July to 31st December.

NHM Punjab Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must possess the minimum qualification of MBBS from a recognized University.
In case of foreign medical graduate, the candidate must have cleared the National Board of Examinations (NBE).
He should be registered with the Punjab Medical Council/Medical Council of India/ National Medical Council.
Should have passed Punjabi upto Matric level or equivalent examination conducted by the Language Department, Punjab and as per latest instructions issued by Govt. of Punjab from time to time.
The age of the candidate shall be less than 37 years.
He should be physically and mentally fit according the standards of fitness provided for entrance to the Punjab State Medical Service.

Order Of Priority:

Candidates graduating from the Medical Colleges established/run by the Govt. of India or State Govt. or through a Society established/ run by the Govt. of India or State Govt and predominantly funded by the Govt.
Candidates Graduating from Medical Colleges other than the Medical Colleges established/run by the Govt of India or S~te Govt. or through a Society established/ run by the Govt. of India or State Govt.
Candidates graduate from Medical Colleges outside India.

NHM Punjab House Surgeon Salary /Pay Scale

Rs. 70,000/- PM

Selection Procedure

The applications shall be invited by the Director of Health Services for the Entire State through a common advertisement.

The Selection Committee shall be at the District Level comprising the following:

Civil Surgeon of the District: Chairman
Assistant Civil Surgeon
Representative of the Deputy Commissioner
District Social Justice Empowerment Officer.

NHM Punjab House Surgeon Merit List

Merit will be determined on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in the Professional examination viz. 1st, 2nd and final professional MBBS university examination.
